Program producers CAD have realized for some time the potential of mobile platforms, it is enough to see that the largest one, the Autodesk, has been offering mobile versions of AutoCAD for smartphones and tablets for some time.
Now, it looks like another giant in the segment, Corel, the same conclusion is coming: she is launching today the first version of CorelCAD Mobile for iPhones and iPads.
With the free application, you can view and make basic notes on 2D or 3D DWG files imported from a computer. The app, however, offers a subscription that reveals its real powers: paying $ 100 / year or $ 10 / msIt is possible to make edits to 2D files, changes to ready-made models with more than 150 drawing and modeling features, advanced visualization of 3D models and improved annotation tools, which even include the insertion of voice clips or external images in the file.
According to Corel, the tools were adapted for the touch-sensitive interface and projects can be imported / exported through services such as Google Drive, Dropbox or Box (no comments on iCloud, however); files can also be saved locally to iGadgets. Everything, of course, works in line with CorelCAD for macOS and Windows, so your files created on the computer will work perfectly on the screens of smartphones or tablets, at least that's the promise of Corel, in this case.
CorelCAD Mobile is compatible with iOS 9 and above and can be downloaded for free from the App Store.
