Samsung remains committed to bringing its new interface to older "models". Yesterday (13), the company started distributing Android 10 to the Galaxy A50s. Now, the new mobile OS from Google is also being delivered to the Galaxy A30. This is a curious decision if we take into account that the schedule said that the update would only arrive in March.
With that in mind, it is possible that other models in the Galaxy A line, and even the Galaxy Fold, will receive Android 10 ahead of schedule. The update on the Galaxy A30, which weighs 1.4GB and features the "A305FDDU4BTB3" firmware version, also delivers the February security patch.
Unfortunately, it seems that the native screen recorder has not been inserted, but all the standard features of Android 10 and OneUI 2.0 are present, such as system-wide dark mode, new navigation gestures and advanced facial recognition, for example.
At the moment, this update can be downloaded via OTA only in India, but if everything goes well with the distribution in that country and no critical error is detected by Samsung, other regions should receive Android 10 in the coming days or weeks. To check for the update's arrival manually, just go to "settings> software update> download and install".
Before carrying out the installation, check the amount of battery available in the device to avoid disconnections during the process, we recommend at least 50%. It is also advisable to perform a backup of your data.
