The Galaxy A50s started to receive a new software update. This time, Samsung released the OneUI 2.0 interface based on Android 10. Interestingly, this is a surprising decision, given that the initial schedule pointed out that this and other smartphones in the Galaxy A line of 2019 would be updated only in April.
The new update, which includes the software version "A507FNXXU3BTB2" and the February security patch, can be downloaded via OTA only in Vietnam, but if everything goes well with the distribution in that country and no critical errors are detected by Samsung, others regions should receive this update in the coming days or weeks.
Some of the standard features of Android 10 include new navigation gestures and improved privacy and location controls, for example. Owners of the Galaxy A50s will also receive improvements to Samsung's interface, such as native screen recorder and dark mode throughout the system.
Taking into account that the Galaxy A50s received Android 10 this month, there is a possibility that the South Korean giant will release the same update for other models earlier, such as the Galaxy A50 and A70. However, we will have to wait to see if this is really going to happen.
