In November last year, Huawei started distributing the EMUI 10 for the Mate 20 Lite, but at that time only a few European countries received the update. Fortunately that has just changed, given that the company's new interface has been released globally.
This update, which includes the versions "10.0.0.172" and "10.0.0.170", depending on the region, weighs around 4GB and can now be downloaded via OTA by the owners of Mate 20 Lite. To check the update's arrival, just go to "settings> system> software update> check for updates". It is also possible to download it through the HiCare application.
EMUI 10 delivers several interesting improvements for the Mate 20 Lite. Among the novelties, we have a system-wide dark mode, a redesigned configuration menu and better integration with other devices, including Windows 10 computers. Therefore, it is possible to mirror the device's screen directly on the PC, something that provides a great working experience. . As expected, all the standard features of Android 10 are also present.
Before installing the EMUI 10, check the amount of battery available to avoid disconnections during the process, we recommend at least 50%. It is also advisable to perform a backup of your data.
