According to the SamMobile blog, an official firmware update leaked this past Friday and may actually bring some of the features of Android 4.0 (ICS) to the Galaxy S.
Known as the ?Value Pack?, Samsung's update package brings features from the latest version of Google's operating system to a modified Android 2.3 firmware, the latest and available for the model.
Among the new features available are Face Unlock, improvements to the camera with the possibility of taking pictures while shooting, Galaxy S2 photo editor, auto-rotation of the more dynamic screen and performance improvements for 3D and FPS games.
With 19 months of existence, the Galaxy S is the only Android device of 2010 that can receive yet another new update, which highlights the South Korean manufacturer among the most responsible with consumers.
