Google has launched a new application for iOS and Android that allows you to explore the online content of magazines and websites in a completely different and intuitive way.
According to the Mountain View giant, Currents was developed to give smartphones and tablets a new format for reading and browsing, valuing the power of touch screens.
In this first phase of the platform, Google announced that more than 150 partners already contribute to the project with full articles. There are more than 180 channels with news optimized for the application.
Users can also add publications of interest, including RSS, photo and video feeds, public Google+ streams and Google Reader subscriptions.
If you are a web editor and are interested in adding your content to Currents, the company offers a special website for producers that you can customize your content to the platform. The application is only available in the USA.
