New iMacs can now be configured with 256GB and 512GB flash storage

The new iMacs leave the factory with hard drives of 1TB (5,400RPM), however the buyer could always customize the machine through the Apple Online Store with a Fusion Drive (learn more about it here) of 1TB (in 21.5 inch iMacs) ; or 1TB and 3TB Fusion Drive, plus 768GB flash storage (on 27-inch iMacs).

New flash storage options for iMacs

Quietly, Apple added a few more options. Now users who buy iMacs (both 21.5 ? and 27 ?) can also opt for 256GB or 512GB flash storage.

In the United States, the new upgrade options cost respectively US $ 300 and US $ 600, while in Brazil yes, the novelty is also available in the Brazilian Apple Online Store, the options are available for R $ 1,050 and R $ 2,100.
