How to disable autoplay on Netflix

One of Netflix's most useful features is autoplay, which starts showing trailers when you're browsing the platform and checking out what's new, or starting the next episode while you marathon your favorite series.

However, if you want to disable autoplay so you don't miss that post-credit scene at the end of the episode, for example, know that you can change the setting. This adjustment can be made through the Netflix website, specific to each profile and applies to all devices.

How to enable or disable the automatic start of the next episode

  1. Access your Netflix account in a browser on your computer or mobile phone
  2. Select Manage profiles from the menu
  3. Select the profile you want to update
  4. Check or uncheck the option Automatically start the next episode of a series on all devices

There may be a delay before the settings take effect. In this case, you can switch to another profile and return to the desired profile to force the update.
