Asus does not have a large share in the global smartphone market, given that three other companies lead this segment: Samsung, Huawei and Apple. However, this does not prevent the Taiwanese manufacturer from continuing to work hard in this competitive sector, quite the contrary, as it may make a new smartphone official soon.
An image was leaked on the internet showing a Zenfone totally different from what we've seen so far. We still do not know if this device is a top of the line or intermediate, but the fact that draws attention to its design, being practically identical to that of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, at least when we look at the back.
We can clearly notice that Asus has inserted a square module that houses three cameras, the only difference with respect to the Huawei smartphone is in the position of the LED flash. Everything else in the rear design looks identical, even the curvature on the sides.
As for the front of the new Zenfone, if we look closely at the top left corner of the screen, it is visible that Asus has implemented a "hole" to house two cameras. Therefore, it seems that the company intends to follow the trend of the smartphone market in 2020, leaving aside the old "notch" and even the rotating system of the Zenfone 6.
This device must also bring a digital reader just below the module, that is, it is very likely that it does not have an OLED display, otherwise the manufacturer had inserted this security feature under the screen.
Unfortunately, there is still no information on the specifications of the "mysterious Zenfone", but this and other details may come up in the coming weeks.
