Avid today announced Avid Pro Tools 11, a major update to its industry-leading digital audio workstation that redefines music and audio production for modern workflows. This latest version allows audio professionals to handle the most demanding productions with new audio and high power video engines, 64-bit architecture, expanded metering and direct HD video workflows.
The new audio interfaces now have direct support for iGadgets, being the first time that Avid includes a USB port and direct support for iOS devices on your hardware. While Fast Track Solo costs $ 180, Duo costs $ 300. Pro Tools 11 will hit the market during the second quarter of the year at prices ranging from $ 300 (upgrade from Pro Tools 10 to 11) to $ 1,000 (upgrade from Pro Tools HD 9 to 11). (Avid News Room)
