Step 1. Access the VirusTotal website (virustotal.com) and press the "Choose file" button;

Step 2. Now, locate the file you want to check and select "Choose" in the bottom right corner;

Step 3. Confirm the submission with "OK". This can take time, depending on the size of the file and the speed of your connection;

Step 4. Finally, wait for VirusTotal to perform the analysis. The overall result will be displayed at the top of the screen. Below, you can check the result of each antivirus in which the file was scanned.
