According to a CNET report, Google this week started a series of tests in preparation for the launch of Google Music, a music sales and streaming service.
"Google employees started a service dogfood process – a process known in Silicon Valley where employees test the capabilities of a new service or product," sources in the music industry said on the site.
In February, Sanjay Jha, executive director of Motorola Mobility, revealed that a music store was due to arrive on devices equipped with the Android platform.
– If you look at Google Mobile services today, you will see that there is a video service, a music service. Or rather, having a music service missed Jha during his presentation.
