When Apple introduced the new Mac Pro during WWDC 2013, the immediate reaction was: WOW!
In addition to a totally different design than what we are used to for a professional machine like this, it has only 1/8 of the total volume of the ?cheese grater? model. But this also brings a problem: if professionals previously had internal space to make the machine more sturdy, the new Mac Pro follows the ?closed? trend of current MacBooks (Air / Pro) and does not allow internal expansion everything has to be done by four USB 3.0 ports, six Thunderbolt 2 (20Gbps) ports and two Gigabit Ethernet ports.
