Black Friday has 1,100 complaints 12 hours before the start of the event | E-commerce

Black Friday 2018 officially starts this Friday (23), but consumer complaints already exceed 1.1 thousand. The survey carried out by ReclameAQUI accounts for complaints made on the website until 12 noon on Thursday (22). Among the main reasons are misleading advertising and diverging values. Television and mobile phones lead the ranking of categories with the most problems at the time of purchase.

Last year, during the 24 hours of Black Driday's day deals, there were 3,500 complaints on the site. On Black Friday 2016, Reclame Aqui received 2.9 thousand and, in 2015, the number reached 4.4 thousand complaints.

According to ReclameAqui, the numbers are the result of a combination of two factors: the early start of monitoring and the increasingly attentive profile of consumers. Complaints ahead of time, therefore, end up being a natural symptom of offers released by shopkeepers before Friday.

  1. Misleading advertising – 13.2%
  2. Divergence of values ??- 6%
  3. Checkout Problems – 5.6%
  4. Delay in delivery – 5% (cases of stores that are already in BF during the month)
  5. Reversal of amount paid – 2.9%

Products with more complaints

In the survey, TVs, smartphones and cell phones are at the top of the list of products with the highest number of complaints registered, with 5.4% of the total. The number coincides with the expectations of Black Friday organizers, who are betting on electronics, again, as the category most sought after by consumers.

As a result, the largest number of complaints were registered by people who had trouble buying sneakers. Then, complaints point to errors in credit card services and refrigerator offers.
