Samsung started distributing the February security patch for the Galaxy A50. Interestingly, this is already the fourth device from the company that receives the latest updates from Google, having arrived first on the Galaxy Tab S3, followed by the Galaxy Note 9 and Note 10+.
At the moment, this update is available for download via OTA in several countries in Europe, including Germany, France, Holland, United Kingdom, Italy, Greece and Switzerland, for example, and may arrive in other markets in the coming days or weeks. The software version is "A505FNXXS4ATB1".
In addition to security enhancements, no new features have been added to the system. As for Android 10, Samsung's schedule says that this device will receive the update only in April, along with other intermediaries.
Before installing the February patch on your Galaxy A50, check the amount of battery available to avoid shutdowns during the process, we recommend at least 50%. It is also advisable to perform a backup of your data.
