Following with Discovery Review – our special editorial – Google recently announced an update to the Android voice search application. The novelty allows the user to be able to perform actions using only his voice.
?This is a series of voice commands, which allow you to control your Android phone using only your voice. You can send texts, listen to music, surf the web, send e-mail and more, just talking on your phone ?explained the Mountain View giant.
To use Voice Actions, just tap the microphone button inside the Google search box (present on the home screen) or press and hold the physical search button for a few seconds to activate the "Speak Now" screen.
Voice actions are only available to English speakers in the US and require Froyo (Android 2.2).
