According to information from the Wall Street Journal, Amazon.com plans to launch an app store for the Android operating system that could compete with Google's Android Market.
"Amazon would be offering application developers 70 percent of sales revenue, according to company documents that were sent to industry professionals," said the American newspaper.
The revenue, out of curiosity, the same that Apple offers app developers for its platform. Questioned by the press, Amazon replied that "it did not make any advertisement". Google said it would not comment on the rumors.
