Google releases Android Froyo for Nexus One users

Google announced, earlier this week, the release of version 2.2 of the Android Operating System, better known as Froyo, for the Nexus One smartphone.

According to the company, the OS update provides new functionality to the device, such as support for Adobe Flash in the browser, as well as the Portable hotspot, which allows sharing the wi-fi signal with other devices.

To update the version, the user must download the update through the message that will be displayed on the device's notification bar. The update will be released gradually to users. Soon, everyone should receive the update on their devices.
