The small company Plink, developer of the Android application Plaink Art, was bought by Google.
The application, which allows you to locate, through a simple photo taken by your smartphone, information works of art, won over 50 thousand users in just one month and was one of the winners of the Android Developer Challenge 2.
The two co-founders of the company, as well as their employees, will work on Google Goggles, a Google tool that allows searches through images taken by cell phone.
Plink Art can be found on the Android Market by searching for PlinkArt. The service, however, will not receive further updates.
