After becoming an independent brand, Poco confirmed that it will launch its next smartphone, the Poco X2, on February 4. Now, with a few days to go before the official announcement, real images of this device have been leaked, confirming what everyone suspected.
Everything indicates that the Poco X2 is a renamed Redmi K30, and the photos corroborate this theory. We can notice the double front camera in the upper right corner, in addition to the large speaker for calls on the small edge, two features that can also be found in the Redmi model.
Therefore, it is quite clear that this was the path chosen by Poco, something that certainly saved considerable time in the development of the Poco X2. However, if we think about it, this idea can give a sense of lack of identity, given that many can associate their products as just a copy of Xiaomi.
Anyway, this does not mean that the Poco X2 is a bad smartphone, on the contrary, its main highlight is the display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Other expected specifications include: Snapdragon 730G processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage (expandable) via microSD), 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP rear cameras, 20MP front, 4,500 mAh battery with 27W fast charging and MIUI 11 with Android 10.
In addition to Poco X2, it is believed that the company should make two other models official this year: Poco F2 and F2 Lite. However, unlike their brother, they would deliver their own design.
