Nintendo recently released the earnings report for the past nine months. Amid the report, a game caught the eye with its sales numbers, Pokmon Sword and Shield. If we take into account the short period that was analyzed since the launch of the title, this is an impressive result!
Pokmon Sword and Shield got a surprising result compared to other games
Between November 13, 2019 and December 31, 2019, Pokmon Sword and Shield achieved a surprising result of 16.06 million copies. This is a remarkable performance to take off the hat and we will show you why compared to other games.
For those who are starting to play Nintendo titles, one of the most suitable titles for Switch The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which has obtained 16.34 million sales since its launch in 2017. However, the last Pokmon game released to the console almost exceeded that number in just 46 days of life. The game of little monsters that stay inside a ball almost outperformed Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, missing 1 million copies to reach it.

Sword and Shield easily overtook Pokmon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee !, which currently has 11.76 million copies sold. - Pokmon Diamond and Pearl: 17.67 million
- Pokmon X and Y: 16.44 million
- Pokmon Sun and Moon: 16.18 million units
- Pokmon Sword and Shield: 16.06 million * (after one and a half months sale)
- Pokmon Black and White: 15.64 million
