With Uber Cash, users have the possibility to buy prepaid credits in physical stores, just as they already do with cell phone plans, or else have a discount on payment with credit or debit cards. You can add money to Uber Cash in advance, planning your expenses and at the same time having the same card payment experience, explains Rob Daniel, director of financial products for the company.
According to the platform's website, those who choose to add credits through the application earn discounts, which vary according to the amount paid. The service offers 5% discount for those who insert R $ 200 in the prepaid system, 3% if the amount is R $ 100 and 2% when including R $ 50. That is:
- 5% discount when adding R $ 200: amount to be paid is R $ 190
- 3% discount when adding R $ 100, amount to be paid is R $ 97
- 2% discount when adding R $ 50, amount to be paid is R $ 49
To use the mode, simply change the payment method to Uber Cash before requesting a run or food delivery. If the user does not want to be surprised by the lack of credits on the service, he can activate the automatic renewal, with a predefined value for himself, whenever the balance reaches the value of R $ 10. After joining, the Uber Cash balance passes to collect all credits received from Uber Prepaid cards, promotions and credits via support.
