Launched with a marketing campaign of 100 million dollars in the United States, the Droid is Motorola's greatest promise to retake the market and recover its prestige among consumers. The effects of the campaign are clear, the Droid may reach 1 million devices sold in the fourth quarter of 2009 alone.
According to a Google Discovery source at Motorola, the first units of the Droid should arrive this week in Brazil. However, there is still no set date for reaching TIM stores.
