Application to make Vine: how to edit videos on the phone with Byte | Audio and Video

In the following tutorial, check out how to use the Byte app to edit short videos on your phone. The procedure was performed on a Moto G7 Play with Android 9.0 (Pie), but the tips also apply to users of the Apple system.

Step 1. Install the Byte app on your phone. When you open it for the first time, tap "Sign in with Google" to create a free account. Then choose your username and, if you want, add a profile photo. To continue without a photo, tap "I'll do this later";

Step 2. On the app's home screen, you can browse the short videos by swiping up. Use the buttons in the lower right corner to enjoy, view and add comments and repost the videos on your Byte profile or on other social networks;

Step 3. Still in the video feed, tap on the user's name to access the profile. To follow and see all the content created by the person, tap "Follow +". Returning to the home screen, tap on the magnifying glass icon in the bottom bar to access the search and find users and videos;

Step 4. On the recording screen, press and hold the button to record videos. You can follow the recording time using the lils bar at the top of the screen. In the buttons below, you can switch the camera, delete the last scene, activate the ghost mode (responsible for cutting scenes) and import images from the gallery. When finished recording, tap "Post" to share the video on your Byte profile;

Step 5. In the lightning bolt icon you can follow notifications about new likes, comments and followers. Finally, in the last tab, it is possible to access your profile and content shared on Byte. Tap on "Edit profile" in the upper right corner to edit and complete your profile with profile photo, page color setting, name and filling in the "about" section.
