Spotify released, last Monday (2), a timer to automatically turn off music in the iPhone application (iOS). The function, which already existed in the streaming version for Android since May this year, is ideal for interrupting the playback of the tracks at bedtime, preventing the cell phone from ringing throughout the night.

Step 1. Open Spotify and touch a song to play. Then, tap the bar located at the bottom of the screen to open the player in full screen;

Step 2. To access the Spotify timer on iOS, tap the three dots in the upper right corner. Then, select "Timer";

Step 3. Touch the desired time for the end of playback. Ready. The sleep function allows Spotify to turn itself off at the end of the period.

How to disable Spotify timer on iOS
To deactivate, simply access the Timer and tap on the option "Turn off the timer".
