Google Photos has begun to exclude some video formats that are incompatible with the platform?s unlimited space. This is the case for VOB and RAW formats, for example, which are now discounted from the users' storage plan. The change took effect on December 6 and only affects shipments after that date. Remember that the Google service offers unlimited storage space for photos and videos with reduced quality.
Those interested in downloading or deleting files that conflict with the software must perform the procedure on the PC. Available on Android and iPhone (iOS) phones, Google Photos supports videos in .mpg, .mod, .mmv, .tod, .wmv, .asf, .avi, .divx, .mov, .m4v, .3gp format, .3g2, .mp4, .m2t, .m2ts, .mts, and .mkv. Check, in the following tutorial, how to check the videos incompatible with the application and download or remove the items.
