Myth. Dark Mode is a theme in which the graphical interface of the operating system or application in question changes colors and uses dark tones instead of white. In general, besides the preference of each one, this method has the great advantage of offering battery savings in devices with OLED screens and the like.
The Night Mode is different. In this case, once activated, the operating system eliminates or decreases the emission of colder tones, close to blue. The idea is that, without emitting this type of lighting, the device does not disturb the biological clock and does not disturb the user's sleep.

3. Does Dark Mode help people with disabilities?
Truth. Dark Mode can be indicated for users with photophobia, a condition that causes migraines from exposure to bright lights. In addition, Google argues that the option is useful for users with other vision problems and for people who are more sensitive to light.

Truth. As mentioned in the first topic, Dark Mode and Night Mode are not the same. Even so, the two options emit less blue lights. The reason for this is in the decrease of lighter and more intense tones of color in the graphic interface. Therefore, Dark Mode can also contribute to not impair the user's sleep. The best option for controlling the coldest lighting, however, is still the night option.
5. Does Dark Mode help to rest your eyes?
Myth. Unlike what it looks like, Dark Mode can even make the view even more tiring. The reason for this is in the contrast between white text on a black background, something that requires more effort from the eyes than the traditional black text on a white background.
