Bike Ita is a bicycle rental system with an economic price, starting at R $ 5, available through an application for Android phones and iPhone (iOS). The stations operated by Tembici operate in five capitals: Rio de Janeiro, So Paulo, Salvador, Porto Alegre and Pernambuco. Loan posts are spread across several city districts. The user takes the bike at one station and can return it at any other station, for the period of 60 minutes of each trip. The plans cover monthly or daily amounts, depending on the user's needs.

How to register at Bike Ita

Registration can be done by any user, without having to have an account at Banco Ita, in a practical and quick way. Just download the Bike Ita app on your phone, available on Google and Apple operating systems. Then the user only needs to choose the available city and fill in the personal and payment details. It is only possible to take one bicycle at a time, with a single registration per person.

There are two ways to release the bike: first by means of a physical card and second from the digital release, through the mobile application. The system does not charge an initial registration fee, only the monthly / daily fee. The hours of operation of the stations from 6 am to 12 am, every day of the week.

With the registration done, the user only needs to find in the application the map with the nearest bike station and go to it. With a physical card, just insert it into the slot on the side of the bike and wait for the green light to allow on the device. If you have a digital release, access the icon of the station you are at and select "Unlock Bike". Then, confirm the action in "Get the release code".

In this way, a numeric password of five digits (with numbers from 1 to 3) will be shown and must be inserted in the electronic display. This code is valid for one minute and can be renewed as many times as needed. Now just wait for the bike to be released with the green light on and pull the bike. It is worth taking care with the lock: sometimes it gets stuck and it may seem that the bike has not been released. Just tilt the handle upwards to unlock easily.

When removing the bicycle from the parking space, the user has one minute to check the condition of the bicycle and, if necessary, return it to the station without starting the loan period. It is worth mentioning that the bikes indicated with the red light are in maintenance and cannot be used.

Just fit the bike in one of the parking spaces and ensure that it has been locked, after the green light goes out and the audible alert ends. In the Bike Ita app, the user can see all the stations close by, including whether there is vacant space to attach new bikes. If you have no battery or Internet on your cell phone, note that in each station there is also a map with the stations nearby. Just go to the next base. To rent a bike from Bike Ita it is possible to use the mobile app and make a daily payment that costs R $ 5 or subscribe to the monthly plan, with a fixed price of R $ 20. There is also the plan for three days, for R $ 15; the quarterly plan, for R $ 50; and the annual, for R $ 160. One of the details that needs attention to not pay extra fees is the time of use. The user can make unlimited trips of up to 60 minutes during the plan period. If you want to cycle longer, you will be charged an additional R $ 5 per hour. To avoid the fare, it is necessary to take a 15-minute break between each trip of up to 60 minutes. Thus, the user needs to return the bicycle to one of the stations and wait for the time stipulated by the company.

The monthly or daily payment can be made via credit card with MasterCard, Visa, Hyper, Hipercard, Diners Club, JBC and Cabal banners. To top it off, some stations have a self-service station with a quick instruction screen to purchase a daily plan, in the amount of R $ 5, from the credit card.

The amounts reported in this tariff are based on Bike Rio (Rio de Janeiro) and are subject to change according to the provisions of Bike Ita.
