For some years now, Apple has been running an interesting campaign #ShotoniPhone, in which notable photographs captured on their smartphones by users around the world are printed on the company's advertising material. Now, Ma will take this idea to the next level: the company has just announced its first official photo contest taken by iPhones.
Apple starts the year by celebrating the most beautiful photographs captured by the iPhone, the most popular camera in the world, and invites users to send their best clicks.
From January 22 to February 7, Apple will look for the best photos from the iPhone Clicked Challenge. A panel of judges will review submissions from around the world and select ten winning photos, which will be announced in February. The winning images will be highlighted in billboards selected cities, Apple stores and online.
The contest's judging panel includes prominent professionals from around the world, such as former official photographer President Barack Obama, Pete Souza, the Chinese visual artist Chen Man and Apple?s vice president of marketing, Phil Schiller. And guess what, we have Brazilian in the area too: the photographer Lusa Drr, which we?ve talked about here, when 12 of your photos clicked on iPhones are on the covers of the magazine TEAM.
participating in the contest is very easy: just publish your best photo taken with an iPhone on Instagram or Twitter, checking the hashtag #ShotoniPhone, between 1/22 and 7/2. Alternatively, you can send the photo in full resolution to email@example.com; the file must be named following the pattern name_name_modelodoiphone. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate, and Apple employees as well as their immediate family members cannot compete.
Be sure to share your photos sent below right here, in the comments. And good luck! ?
