Recently, information emerged that Intel would be considering the name of Johny Srouji to occupy his position as CEO today temporarily filled by CFO Bob Swan.
Because, according to Ashraf Eassa of Motley Fool, Apple's senior vice president of hardware technologies has already informed its team that it is not considering accepting the invitation.
Ive heard that Johny Srouji is NOT a candidate for $ INTC CEO. He apparently told his staff that hes not going anywhere. $ AAPL

Srouji's possible exit would be a big negative blow for Apple, certainly. In early 2016, the Bloomberg drew a profile of the executive showing that, although less known than others, he is one of the most important today at the top of the company.
Srouji has been with Apple since 2008, but worked at Intel from 1993 to 2005 and had a quick stint at IBM as well. He was promoted to senior VP in late 2015.

Now sure that Srouji will not go to Intel: the semiconductor manufacturer announced today that Bob Swan assume the position of CEO permanently.
Swan has been Intel's CFO since 2016.
