Google Maps now allows you to send messages to businesses directly from the map app on your phone. According to Google, the ideal novelty to answer questions about products and services without having to call or go to the site and wait several minutes to be served, which should make life easier for the user. The company clarifies that only stores registered with Business Profiles can exchange messages with customers.

Step 1. Open the Google Maps app and find the establishment to which you want to send messages. You can find it on the map or use the search. Then tap on the name at the bottom of the screen;

Step 2. Now, slide the screen up. Among the available options, find the option "Contact us" and tap on it. It is worth remembering that the resource s appears for companies registered with Google Business Profiles;

Step 4. Some companies may take a while to respond. In this case, you can follow your conversations by accessing the Google Maps menu and opening "Messages".
