Next to the new iMacs, Apple releases Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad 2.

In addition to launching a new 21.5-inch iMac with Retina 4K display and upgrading the other models, Apple today also announced three new peripherals (which had previously leaked): Magic keyboard, O Magic mouse 2 it's the Magic Trackpad 2. The first two go by default in the box of all iMacs.

Apple's new Magic accessories have been redesigned for added comfort, are now equipped with rechargeable (lithium) batteries and are more environmentally friendly.

Magic Keyboard is a full size keyboard that occupies an area 13% smaller than before. Its profile has been reduced and it uses a new scissor mechanism (yes, different from the 12-inch MacBook butterfly mechanism), providing a stable and accurate typing experience; The keys now bring, of course, the San Francisco font. Magic Mouse 2 is now lighter and more robust, with a base that offers smoother gliding. Finally, the Magic Trackpad 2 drops the silver look, has a 29% larger surface area and incorporates Force Touch technology, as in recent MacBooks.

All peripherals automatically pair with your Mac as soon as they are connected via a Lightning-to-USB cable (included in the box). Apple promises an average autonomy of one month per recharge (two hours) for all of them.

Prices and availability

In the United States, Magic Keyboard costs $ 99, Magic Mouse 2 costs $ 79 and Magic Trackpad 2 costs $ 129. All of them will begin to be delivered this Thursday, October 15th.

Already in Brazil, as in the iMacs, they are not yet available for purchase but their prices are already in the air: Magic Keyboard for $ 749, Magic Mouse 2 for $ 649 and Magic Trackpad 2 for $ 999.
