Waze now supports Siri shortcuts on iPhone (iOS). The new feature in iOS 12 lets you integrate Apple's virtual assistant with third-party apps. This way you can perform actions in the GPS navigation app using voice commands, ie without having to manually open the app. The function is useful for drivers to perform actions without touching the phone screen.
In the following tutorial, check out how to enable and use Siri shortcuts in Waze. The procedure was performed on an iPhone 8 with iOS 12, but the tips also apply to other models of the Apple phone. You must have the latest version of the app installed on your phone to learn how to update your apps.
