The Linux Foundation

Linux Foundation wants to create a Real Time Operational System (RTOS), that is, a real-time IoT (Internet of Things) operating system. The project is being called Zephyr and has already piqued the interest of companies like Intel for its use in critical missions.

Real-time operating systems have almost nonexistent latency and are typically run on highly accurate computational systems and instant responses, such as machines used in surgeries, assembly lines, and even music production.
