Chrome has serious security flaw; see how to upgrade and protect yourself | Browsers

Chrome has a serious security breach, and Google recommended last Wednesday that all users update their browser immediately. The vulnerability, which is being exploited by hackers, allows remote execution of commands on the device and even full control of the computer or mobile phone. To fix the problem, the company has released version 72.0.3626.121 of the program, which is available for both PCs and mobile devices.

How to update Chrome on PC

Step 1. Open the Chrome menu, go to "Help" and click "About Google Chrome". The procedure is the same on Windows, macOS and Linux;

Step 2. The download and update will be performed automatically. Just wait until the software is downloaded and installed. Finally, to complete the upgrade, you must restart the program by clicking "Restart".
