IRS App 2019: How to declare Mobile Income Tax | Productivity

To view the procedure, the TechTudo prepared a tutorial using the application on the mobile phone, divided into seven steps: beginning of the declaration, insertion of personal data, declaration of third parties, report of income, payments, assets and debts and, finally, the submission of the Federal Revenue statement. Taxpayers should do the process annually as required by the Ministry of Economy.

Step 1. Download My 2019 Income Tax from TechTudo page. When opening the app, identify yourself through your Individual Taxpayer Registration (CPF) and date of birth. Then transcribe the security code to continue using the app;

Step 2. After entering your CPF in the app, it identify the list of all your statements to the IRS. Tap the "+" symbol in the frame for the year 2019. Thus, a tab with the "Start Declaration" option will open;

Step 3. To start your statement you will need to enter a keyword, as in the 2018 edition of the application. This type of password will allow you to later access your statement from another device if necessary. After registration, it will be necessary to create a question and an answer in case of loss or forgetfulness of the word.

2. Include identifying data

In your statement, enter a number of personal data, such as contact information, address, Social Security registration numbers (NIT / PIS / PASEP), and voter title.

Step 1. To start changing your personal details, go to the "Identification" option in the main application screen, which is divided into six blocks. You will then be directed to a screen with two sections: "Personal Data" and "Contact";

Step 2. Once on the "Personal Data" screen, change information such as "Nature of Occupation", "Main Occupation" and marital status, in addition to recording the receipt number of your last statement, as well as your electoral title and registration. Social Security;

Step 3. To change the "Nature of Occupation", tap the downward arrow on the "Personal Data" screen itself. You will be sent to a section where you can look up your occupation at the top of the screen, or manually look it up in the IRS list of numbered occupations;

Step 4. To change the "Main Occupation", the process is similar. Press the downward-facing arrow, then choose from the list of Internal Revenue Service occupations that best describes your primary occupation, or search for it in the search field at the top of the screen;

Step 5. The second screen of the "Identification" menu allows the change of contact data. Check "Yes" or "No" to inform if there have been any contact changes. Then add the zip code with it, the application identifies other data, such as street, neighborhood and municipality. Then add your mobile phone and email.

3. Include third parties in the statement

Step 1. To access the "Third Party" section, there are two options: return to the app's home screen, divided into six frames; or click the three-stripe icon in the top corner of the app screen. Thus you will see a side menu which allows you to access the six sections of the application. Tap "Third Party" to access the screen with different types of third parties: "Dependent", "Feeding", "Spouse" and "Inventory";

Step 2. To add a dependent, select the "Dependent" option on the "Third Party" screen. Once the "Add Dependent" screen opens, select the type of dependent you want to add. To do this, simply click the downward arrow at the top of the screen.

Step 3. Other types of third parties can be added similarly. Unlike the procedure for adding dependents, the step-by-step "Add Feeding", "Add Spouse" or "Add Inventant" does not require selection of a specific third party type. Just enter data from each, such as CPF.

4. Include income data

Step 1. The "Income" section is for recording income earned in different ways, such as salary pay, wage labor, profit sharing, rental income, interest on equity, exempt income such as income. savings and also income from financial investments. To do so, tap the option indicated in the main menu;

Step 2. To include taxable income, select the "Taxable, Deductions and Withholding" option on the "Income" screen. You will then be directed to a screen where you must include the CPF or National Taxpayer Register (CNPJ) of the paying source. Step 3. To include income derived from profit sharing, interest on equity or financial investments, see "Exclusive Taxation Subjects". Then select the nature of the income. Remember that in this section you must record, in addition to the paying sources, the incomes that occurred in the current year, not the capital that generated those incomes;

Step 4. To include deferred income, the similar process is: Selecting the option from the "Income" menu and then entering the payer data in addition to one of the value fields;

Step 5. To include exempt and non-taxable income, select "Exempt and Non-Taxable". Then choose the list of options provided by the IRS, which includes "equity transfers", "savings account income" and "scholarship", for example. Then simply add the CNPJ of the paying source and the amount of the amount to be declared;

Step 6. Income of varying nature, such as income from rent and salaried work, as well as from deduction or linked to paid Carn-Leo should be entered in the option "Subject to Carn-Leo and Others". The user will be directed to a menu where they must first select the months in which the yields occurred. Step 7. Still in the section of income of varied nature, after choosing the month, it is possible to discriminate the type of income occurrence of that period. To do this, tap the downward arrow next to the "Occurrence" field. This will take you to the screen where you can choose between "Salaried Work", "Rent" and "Other";

Step 8. The "Accrued Income Received" section allows you to record amounts received at one time, but for a longer period of months. These are usually income from lawsuits in order to receive late payments of wages or pensions, for example.

5. Include payment data

Step 1. Select the "Payments made" option on the "Payments" screen. The platform displays the list of payment types. Choose the category and then fill in the data for it, such as CNPJ of the health plan operator or CPF of the service provider, in addition to the amount paid;

Step 2. To register donations, select the option from the "Payments" menu and a list of donation categories will be shown. Choose the desired category to fill in the data related to it, such as CNPJ or CPF of the beneficiary and donated amount;

Step 3. By selecting the "Electoral Donations" option from the "Payments" menu, you will automatically be directed to a screen where you must include paid amount and CNPJ for this type of donation;

Step 4. Donations to the Child and Adolescent Statute can be made in the statement itself. Go to "Donations directly to ECA" in the "Payments" menu. Then choose the type of fund for which the grant was intended. After that, enter the "Amount to pay". The Donation Payment Darf will be generated along with the Declaration Delivery Receipt;

Step 5. Optional tax supplements can be added through the "Supplementary Tax Paid" section. Select the option on the "Payments" screen. Then enter the sum of Darf field 7 for the supplementary taxes paid in 2018.

6. Include property or debt data

Step 1. The "Assets and Debts" section allows you to declare assets such as houses, apartments, financial investments and account balances. Regarding financial investments, for example, in this section the taxpayer must declare the amount from which his income was received. Tap this option in the main menu;

7. Summary and submission of statement
