The Yousician app is an interactive platform with lessons and challenges that help the user learn to play the guitar on his mobile phone. Step 1. Download Yousician from the TechTudo page. When opening the app for the first time, you will need to create an account. To do so, you can use the "Login" option to register by entering personal data manually or use a Facebook account as we will do in this example. Tap "Continue with Facebook";

Step 2. Confirm social network login by tapping the "Continue" button;

Step 1. Define what kind of learning you want to receive from the app. There are four levels. If you need starting classes, tap the "Nothing yet" option. However, if you already know the basic notions of the instrument, try other options;

Step 2. At this time, the app asks if you want to tune the guitar or if it is already tuned. Also, there is an option to only view the exercise when the user does not have the instrument in his hands in "I don't have a guitar with me". Step 4. Allow the app to use the smartphone's microphone. To do this, tap the "OK" button. This is indispensable for the app system to recognize the sound of your guitar during lessons;

Step 5. Repeat on your guitar the required movements on the screen. The app will use the microphone to pick up the sound of the instrument and indicate if it is correct. Each hit increases the points of the lesson, as shown by the counter in the upper right corner of the screen;

Step 6. At the end of the lesson, you will see your score. Tap the arrow icon in the upper left corner to return to the lesson home screen;

Step 7. Close the lesson by tapping the arrow icon in the upper left corner of the screen again;

Step 1. The home screen presents your ongoing lessons in "Continue Learning" and new lessons with famous music (for premium users). You can keep tapping the "Learn" tab;

Step 2. The "Learn" tab displays a graph of your progress in lessons. You can tap the "Workouts" option to view other available workouts;

Step 3. Most of these classes are offered for premium users only. However, some of them, such as "Chord Trainers", are released to all users. Click on it to continue;

Step 4. Tap one of the classes at the bottom of the screen;

Step 5. To start the class, click on the "Play" button;

Step 6. The class asks users to repeat on their guitars the chords presented on the screen. The lesson system uses application chord recognition to increase lesson time. The more chords performed correctly the longer you stay in the lesson;

Step 7. Your score will be presented at the end of the class. Tap the arrow icon in the bottom right corner to return to the home screen;

Step 8. On the home screen, tap the "Challenges" option;

Step 9. Click the "Let's play" button to view the challenge options;

Step 10. Click on one of the songs offered in the challenge;

Step 11. Repeat on the guitar the moves shown on the screen to earn points and win the challenge;

Step 12. At the end of the exercise, the app will display its performance. To close this screen and return to the home menu, touch the arrow icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

Step 1. Tap the cone shown in the image below (tuning drawing) to open the tuner;

Step 2. Position the phone next to the phone and play the string you want to tune. The app will indicate with an affirmative sound when the string is at the exact tension. Continue the same procedure string by string until the instrument is properly tuned. To close and return to the home screen, touch the arrow icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
