Step 1. Install the Featured Cover Maker app for Instagram Story. In the main application screen, select the template you want to use. Tap the first cone in the bottom left corner to customize the background;

Step 2. You can use a color, design, or texture from the application's template library. If you want to select a photo from your gallery, tap the second button in the bar above the templates. After making the desired edits, tap the right button to apply;

Step 3. If the selected template has text, tap on it to edit it. Use the buttons above the options bar to change the font, color and format. To edit the text content, tap the keyboard icon. After making the desired edits, tap the button in the upper right corner of the keyboard to apply;

Step 4. Tap on the star button to add a cone to your cover photo. Just like text, you can drag and move the image to align on the horizontal, vertical or center axis. Use the pin or arrow gesture to zoom in, out, or rotate. When done, apply the modifications;

Step 5. At the top of the main editing screen, tap the middle icon to view the cover you created. Finally, tap the button in the upper right corner to save the image to your mobile gallery. Now just edit the highlight of your Instagram and import the cover.
