Disabling iFood notifications is possible with a few steps. The app sends several alerts per day to users, and while some are relevant, most of them are just advertising by the service itself, which can be annoying. One way to avoid the inconvenience is to just mute push notifications on your mobile phone by keeping sending promo and discount coupon notifications via SMS, email and WhatsApp.
The procedure can be done in-app and does not affect notifications about orders if the restaurant has accepted, is preparing, if the food has already been delivered, etc. Check below how to mute iFood notifications on your smartphone. The walkthrough was performed on Android, but can also be played on iPhone (iOS).
