Cellular Aviation Mode is designed to meet area travel regulations, but the feature hides a few tricks that can be useful in everyday life. The function, for example, allows you to eavesdrop and anonymously view posts from some social networks, such as Snapchat, WhatsApp, and Facebook. In addition, it is also possible to avoid mobile game advertising or work time distractions.

Another benefit of Airplane Mode is related to energy saving of the handsets. With the function enabled, the phone has longer runtime, as it disables all connections, and makes the battery recharge process faster. Here are seven unique aviation mode features available on any modern smartphone with Android or iPhone (iOS) system.

1. Snap Snapchat print without prompting user
Airplane mode can be used to circumvent the warning that Snapchat shows when someone prints a post. The trick is to open the desired photo or chat, activate airplane mode and then take the screenshot. Because your phone has no Internet connection, Snapchat will not be able to tell the contact that you printed the screen. Then simply disable airplane mode to resume the connection.
2. View Facebook and Instagram Stories anonymously

Turning on airplane mode while using Facebook and Instagram lets you view friends' Stories without them knowing. The trick works in the same way that enabling the Snapchat Air Mode switch enables you to navigate through the stories without being named in the viewing history.
The reason for both tips is the same: 3G and 4G internet access of the mobile phone is disabled with avio mode. For the trick to work, you need to load all the stories before enabling the feature. Thus, the phone saves the images and makes them available even while you are without a connection.
3. Save phone battery
Airplane mode, when enabled, temporarily disables all phone connections, such as Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G, GPS, and Bluetooth, which originally drain a lot of battery power. Enabling the feature can therefore result in greater charging autonomy and ensure energy survival at the end of the day.
Of course, you will be out of communication in the period, but the feature can be useful when transitioning through areas with no coverage area or with poor signal, as radios will not be consuming power while searching for some signal. Remember that even without an active signal, it is possible to use some features of the phone, such as listening to music, watching videos and reading books, as long as the contents have been downloaded previously. This way you will be able to use your phone and avoid unnecessary battery drain.

4. Avoid advertising in games
Turning on airplane mode will result in games installed on your phone not displaying advertising. Ads require a data connection to carry banners and videos, so the disabled Internet prevents advertisements from being displayed during matches. Of course, only games that run offline can be played with this trick.
5. Charge faster phone
Getting your phone to charge in airplane mode saves a few precious minutes and ensures a little more battery power. This is because, as the connections will be disabled, the phone will consume less power resulting from these background connections than if it were working in standard mode. The result is that your phone will charge a little faster and you can leave the house with a little more energy.

Some people can't disconnect from their cell phone even when silent mode is on. Continuously receiving push notifications from email, social networks, and calls can distract anyone at work.
Therefore, enabling airplane mode may be a more efficient alternative as all applications and features will be deactivated with a few taps, avoiding distractions from new alerts. In general, no one should leave their cell phone 24 hours in aviation mode, since they need to receive important messages and calls. For this reason, airplane mode can be useful when working out an important task, meeting, or meeting.
7. Avoid WhatsApp Read Verification

You can bypass the blue check of WhatsApp with airplane mode. As with Snapchat, Facebook, and Instagram, using the messenger with airplane mode enabled will give you access to the platform without Internet access. That is, you will be able to view the messages received, but the app will not register your presence online. Therefore, the blue check will not be displayed to your friends until you connect to the Internet again.
