The sobriety of Google Maps or the Waze collaborative system: which do you prefer?
Of course this question fits in the context of a navigation system used inside a car. Considering this, I first decided to do an informal survey with Uber drivers to find out which online map they liked best. Of the 12 interviewed during the course, Waze won the day off: nine to three.
Uber drivers opine
When I asked the reason for the preference, those who liked Waze more listed two reasons: 1 – they were already used to the tool, because they used it before, as ordinary drivers; 2 Waze route view better than Google Maps. The color of the routes, they say, helps you better understand the route.
In the case of Google Maps preference (Uber pros can opt for it or Waze when they start working for the company), the drivers who used it listed two reasons: 1 – Google's most stable tool than Waze of guiding the path, it falls much less and very rare that it puts the driver in the so-called wrong paths; Its more sober look, without that bunch of colorful Waze emoticons, makes the map easier to use.
