How to Embed Files in Excel Spreadsheets | Productivity

Excel allows you to link to cells in a spreadsheet so that it redirects the user to a page on the Internet or accesses files saved within the PC itself. Step 1. Select a spreadsheet cell and, on the Insert tab, select Link and then Insert Link …. It is worth remembering that the hyperlink be configured only the marked cell;

Step 2. The Insert Hyperlink window will display a number of options for setting the embed for the selected cell. Press the Webpage or File … button in the left column to create the hyperlink;

Step 3. Then choose a file or folder from the highlighted scan tab. Once the option to be embedded in the cell is selected, complete the operation on the OK button;

Step 4. It is also possible to embed the cells directly by right-clicking on them and choosing the Link option;

Step 5. Hyperlinked cells are underlined and highlighted in blue, and when you hover over them, a box displays the website address or location of the embedded file. To access them, left-click on the cell;
