Gathering friends to sing karaok no longer requires a specialized device: just a computer, microphones, and speaker to make the party. While YouTube in Karaok Mode is also a good option, there are PC programs that expand functions and allow, for example, voice and video recording and create playlists to speed up track selection and not slow down the singing. Check out five software for download on the desktop with free videok music.

Karaoke One is a Microsoft Store app with a modern look and easy-to-use controls. Several songs are paid, but there is a wide selection of free songs to sing. The tip is to use the Pop4ever tab, where are the most popular songs, several of them released for use. The program also lets you record just the microphone or include the camera image to make a presentation video. The weak point is the greater difficulty in finding Brazilian content.

Karaoki (pcdj/karaoke-software) is a complete program for anyone who wants to have a private karaok party. The software comes with a robust set of functions, such as playlist control, singer order switching, and sound adjustments. In addition, it is integrated with two online music stores where it is possible to get a large number of songs to sing. However, it is not for everyone, as I need to take some time to familiarize yourself with the interface before starting to use it. The free version of the program, it is worth remembering, only works for 14 days.

The strong of Cante! (cante.br) is certainly not the design, but the program pays off with an unmistakable style of classic karaok: background of random landscapes and colorful lyrics that light up as the time comes to sing them. The whole collection offered by the official site, where I need to download the music beforehand and keep everything on the computer. The main advantage is Internet waiver: as long as the tracks have already been downloaded, karaok can happen even if there is no Wi-Fi.

Like Karaoki, Kanto Player (kantokaraoke) brings more sophisticated functions for those who don't want to do such a simple karaok. It allows you to make a number of audio adjustments and save presets to make the most of the voice of different singers. But the program goes beyond that: unlike other list options, it can both play local karaok files and YouTube videos for it, it has an integrated browser. And best of all, it's completely free.

Musixmatch is not a karaok app, but it is useful when I need to do just the basics: watch the lyrics of a song roll vertically while keeping pace with the music. The app can serve as a valuable addition to YouTube if a very special track doesn't exist on the karaok platform and the only way out is to appeal to Spotify. Da, I just have to play and let the Windows program display the verses on the computer screen.
