Eddy Cue: Apple TV + will focus on quality, not quantity of productions

We are approaching the launch of the Apple TV +, the platform of streaming Ma's original video content that competes with some market giants such as Netflix. Nonetheless, Apple should not bet on numerous productions to gain expressiveness in this field, according to its senior vice president of software and services, Eddy cue.

The executive participated in an interview with the The times, where he talked a bit about expectations for Apple TV +, including the production model that Ma adopts. According to Cue, the company "will not create the largest number of original content for users, but the best."

According to the executive, there is nothing wrong with the model followed by Netflix (high production), only arguing that this is not Apple style. Still, after launching the platform, Ma plans to release new titles monthly, according to the executive; the first of them will probably be ?The Morning Show?starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon.

He noted that Apple was not always one of the largest hardware manufacturers, and that was years after the release of the first major products. That way, while Apple "doesn't know much about television," he said he "finds the best people who do it."

Cue also discussed other Ma services, such as the Apple music it's the Apple News +, stating that the company's goal with its magazine and newspaper platform will further attract the younger audience.

About the service of streaming of music, the executive recently celebrated the mark of 60 million paid subscribers. Cue also said that Apple Music was born of the ?true love of music? and has been a big part of Ma's DNA.
