New iPads Pro could be thinner and… goodbye 3.5mm output?

Last week we commented on some possible features of the upcoming iPads Pro, which may be announced this month. Among the likely news, Ma's new tablets are expected to adopt Face ID, the A12X chip and perhaps a USB-C port in place of the current Lightning.

As the rumors do not stop, we will see other possible details of the new iPads Pro that are running around.

On Twitter, the user CoinCoin that already hit the names and features of the XS, XS Max and XR iPhones before the release ensured that the new iPads I don't own the 3.5mm headphone jack and that they will have 5.9mm thickness.

Of course there will be no headphone jack on the next new iPad. Although 5.9mm thick is very good.

Information from CoinCoin meet those released a few days ago by the leaker Ben Geskin, who shared alleged renders It is worth noting that such a thickness would be compatible with the smaller model of the new tablet, which may have an 11 inch screen.

According to the Appsee review platform, the iPad8,1, iPad8,2, iPad8,3 and iPad8,4 models will likely have a screen with a resolution of 2224 × 1668 pixels, while the iPad8,5, iPad8,6, iPad8 models , 7 and iPad8,8 will have a panel of 2732 × 2048 pixels identical resolutions to those of the current 10.5 and 12.9 inch models, respectively.

As for the other dimensions, the images disclosed in Slashleaks and shared by Geskin suggest that the smaller iPad Pro is 247.64 × 178.52mm (compared to 250.6174.1mm from the current one). For the larger model, the bet is that it has 280.66x215mm (against 305.7220.6mm of the current). In addition, it is likely that bezels of the new gadgets meam around 6mm (top, bottom and sides).

As we said, it is likely that the new iPads Pro will eliminate the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is not quite new considering that it had already said goodbye to iPhones in 2016. Last July, the Japanese blog Macotakara designed almost the same features as the new iPad Pro, including the end of the headphone jack.

Even though there are "rumors proving rumors," we will only know which ones are true and which ones fall apart when Apple actually introduces the new iPad Pro probably at the very end of this month. Until then, we can only keep up with the possible news.
