Kamcord, the company that lets you record and share iOS game videos, has added a site for Android developer signup. The announcement is expected and the number of Android developers already registered has impressed the team.
In June of this year, the developer launched a new feature that allows voice recording over the video, an especially important tool for those who use YouTube to promote their videos. With the KamcordYou can easily record your games on mobile and share with friends via Facebook, Twitter, or upload directly to Youtube.
Kamcord, one of the pioneers in mobile game recording continues to grow. Only in the last 6 months has the company recorded over half a billion videos. I spoke to the always solicited Matt, founder of Kamcord. He stated that the level of interest from Android developers has been amazing. We are working with developers to get feedback and officially launch as soon as possible, probably within a few weeks.
According to Matt, developers have been looking forward to bringing this technology to their games for some time and so there is a huge pent-up demand on this platform, especially in markets where online games are growing as much as Asia and Latin America. "We have an eye even in Brazil. There is a company from Campinas that has an amazing game using Kamcord."
Today, Kamcord has just over 100 games but the plans are ambitious: Matt says his team wants to bring the technology to all iOS and Android devices in the world. What do you think about Kamcord? Would you like to use the feature to record your games and share with friends?
