At the end of your press release About the new MacBooks Air, released on today's keynote, Apple has also brought us a small but important news for MacBooks Pro.
From the middle of next month, Apple will offer an extra configuration leading graphics Radeon Pro Vega (from AMD) to the MacBook Pro for the first time.
These new graphics options deliver up to 60% higher performance for those who demand a lot of video editing, 3D design and rendering.
For now, we don't know how much the upgrade will cost, but it sure won't be cheap at all. Two options will be offered: Radeon Pro Vega 16 or Radeon Pro Vega 20, both with 4GB of HBM2 memory.
Blackmagic eGPU Pro
In a related note, Blackmagic eGPU Pro is being updated with the Radeon RX Vega 56 graphics card (which has 8GB of HBM2 memory).
It cost $ 1,200 l out, so you get a sense of what the thing is really for demanding professionals.
Availability forecast for the end of November.
