The manufacturer Insta360 presented his new camera Pro 2 capable of recording in 360 with 8K image quality (7680 4320). This is enough to provide a 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) image for each user eye in a virtual reality (VR) headset.

To capture the scenes, the gadget uses 6 cameras at a time and then merges the image data into two photos or videos at 8K resolution, thus creating the final 3D and VR content.
The product uses a software stabilization system. Flowstate, which takes the gyro data from the product and tries to offer a similar gimbal experience. This is necessary in a VR product as a physical stabilization system would eventually appear in the image.
