Friday is finally here and there is no better day to talk about leisure, isn't it? Check out this week's new games on the Play Store and pick your favorite!
Many were already looking forward to the Riptide GP2. The sequel to the successful Riptide GP app features very clear graphics and a multiplayer mode. In addition, the app can also be played with your Google+ friends through Google Play Games. As in the first version, you participate in incredible races with a seemingly indestructible jet ski.
Riptide GP2 also features nine new Hydro Jets, amazing tracks and spectacular maneuvers. The control is very fluent, like the water track, and has a lot of fun with or without gamepad – especially the accelerator mode brings extra excitement to the races. The app is optimized for Tegra 4, but also works on other Androids.
Prince of Persia Shadow & Flame
The Prince of Persia is already a legend among games. I remember my first gaming experience with the DOS version on a giant Siemens laptop in the 1990s – and now comes the second version for Android. With Prince of Persia Shadow & Flame Ubisoft has hit once again, and impresses with 14 new levels in a compelling 3D chart.
The peak adventure game clings to original history and brings new fighting systems and new enemies. The prince learns new sequences of blows during the game, which combines well with touch control.
The Walking Dead: Assault
Who knows the comic novel by Robert Kirkman and have been waiting a long time for the respective Android game can now celebrate: zombies have reached your smartphone with The Walking Dead: Assault. The protagonist Rick wakes up in a strange hospital after a coma, and you need to help him get food and weapons. On the way there are of course a horde of zombies, which you can crush as the costume dictates. Over time, you will encounter various characters from the comic novel.
With some knowledge of English it is possible to evolve better in the game, because here and there hints appear on the screen. The best of the game, in my opinion, is the respect to the look of the comic. The background music and the overhead view complete the scary scenery.
For skateboarders the True Skate app for Android has arrived. Here you can maneuver your skateboard with your fingertips on various tracks, naturally making the most grinds, flips and grabs possible – the longer the number of points received. The skate simulator has a lot of fun, and offers a huge park with lots of stairs, tubes and ramps perfect for maneuvering.
And finally deserves more than honorable mention the long-awaited Bounty Arms, subject of a post of its own.
And which game did you enjoy the most?
