Apple Music: Using the Web Player to Listen to Music | Players

Apple released last week the Apple Music browser player. The new feature allows you to listen to music through the browser without the need to install anything. With the end of iTunes, the company is focusing on maintaining its streaming service, making it closer to rivals Spotify, Deezer and Tidal. The web version, however, is exclusive to subscribers and is working only in beta.

Apple Music's web interface looks like the new music application that will be released in conjunction with macOS Catalina. The site provides access to the full service catalog, as well as playlists, saved music, and user synchronized files. Radio stations and personalized recommendations are also present on the web version.

Initially missing are Beats 1's live streams, original video clip content, and intelligent playlist playback system. According to Apple, the service works across multiple browsers, including Chrome, and is also compatible with Android mobile devices. Here's how to use the key features offered by the Apple Music web version.
